Mexico Activities Map

Mexico Mineral Occurrence Map and Information Base

Over 3,700 mineral occurrences shown on a base map with generalized geology as in the Mexico Activities Map. A prospect and mine map. This map and information base was produced from other sources and complements rather than substitutes for the Activities Map. Consists of:

Click Image to Enlarge ViewMap: Large, 3 x 5 ft., laminated map of Mexico, scale 1:2,500,000, in full color, with over 3,700 metals occurrences identified and keyed by number, and by symbol as to geologic type and metals.

CD: Contains digital version of map in MapInfoTM format and listing of occurrences with seven data fields in *.dbf and other database formats.

Report: Two 72-page tables listing occurrences sorted by state then name, and state then number.

Visualize at-a-glance, metal distribution in Mexico to identify clusters and trends for exploration ideas. Can be viewed as a type of Mega-geochemical map.
Identify areas of increased metallization.
Save time and work in generating a prospect information base.
Sort in MapInfo screen by selected metals. For example only gold, or only silver.
Locate obscure properties by name. Identify new localities for selected metals.
