MAP: Laminated
3 x 5 ft map of Mexico, at scale of approximately 1:2,500,000, in gray-scale, shaded
relief format. Bold clarity. Much topographic detail shown at this scale. A new view of
tectonic features, including volcanic cones, calderas, and regional tectonic lineaments,
fold belts, and faults are evident. Produced in SurferTM v.7, using the NOAA
GLOBE, 1 km digital elevation data and an extensive gridding approach.
CD: Includes a 137Mb print file [.prn] for
plotting your own 3 x 5 ft. map at many reprographic shops. The CD also contains the map
in digital files, that may be opened in the SurferTM program, and as a
Workspace in the MapInfoTM. The MapInfo file is a raster map, registered with
longitude and latitude in a Lat-Lon Projection.
