Providing geologic consulting services in
international metals exploration with a strong focus on Mexico and Latin America. David C.
Fitch, principal, is exploration-minded and understands the process of successful
ore-finding. He has more than thirty years of experience in mining exploration and is
credited with managing a team of geologists that made both new discoveries of commercial
deposits and significant additions to ore reserves. He is conversant in Spanish, and able
to function well in Mexico and South America.David C. Fitch geologic consulting has experience
in nearly every stage of metals exploration including the following areas:
 | Field examination and evaluation of hundreds of national and
international mining properties. |
 | Assignments in locations ranging over the entire western
United States, much of Mexico (22 States), Chile, Colombia, and South Africa. |
 | Detailed geochemical soil-grid sampling project in northern
Mexico, with contoured metal values resulting in drill targets. |
 | Regional grubstake prospecting programs, generating
exploration targets. |
 | One-month, fast-track prospecting and sampling evaluation of
540-square-mile area in Elko County to search for new deposits for gold ore mill-feed for
a major mining company. |
 | Regional geologic reconnaissance, sampling, target
generation, and detailed evaluation exploration potential of 400,000 hectare mining claim
in Mexico. |
 | On-site expert advice on exploration drilling programs. |
 | Geologic orientation tours in Mexico, to begin new
exploration programs, or to modify existing exploration programs. These geologic tours
have involved the following items:
 | Design and layout of tour to fit client's needs and
exploration goals. |
 | Suggest a sequence of the best mines, properties, and
prospects to visit. |
 | Recommend key mining contacts in the industry and
government. |
 | Arrange itinerary, contacts, meetings, mine tours, logistics
of travel, accommodations |
 | Compile field notebook with sections on the geology of each
mine and area to be visited. Presentation of overview to client, and recommendations of
areas of interest. |
 | Leading the trip to acquire the most useful information in
the time available. |
|
 | Original research, map and literature compilation, and
overview of all material regarding gold potential for all of Colombia, which included:
 | Preparing reports and maps that summarized all the
significant gold deposits. |
 | Ranked gold properties in order of decreasing gold
potential. |
 | Recommended specific properties and favorable areas for
further interest. |
 | Suggested a sequence of the best mines and properties for an
examination. |
 | Organized a trip itinerary, and provided for local geologic
and travel assistance. |
 | Participated in 20-day field examination which was
successful in safely visiting nearly all of the major gold areas selected. |
|
 | Field examination and report for a diamond exploration
project on a diamond-bearing kimberlite pipe in South Africa. |
